And that's it ! After long months of waiting, tears, blood, tears of blood... the hour of REVER (Meeting of Foreign Veterinary Students in Romania) has finally come!!!
For this first edition, born out of a common project of cohesion and competition between the four veterinary faculties of Romania welcoming foreign speaking students, it was Cluj which had the honor of opening the ball by welcoming the rest of the veterinary elite for a weekend in the name of friendship, challenge and celebration!
An afterwork in two different bars took place on Friday evening, a good way to take and raise the temperature by sleeping in and having fun together. On Saturday, the tournament raged! Worthy of medieval jousts, the games entertained the vet students! Dancing, tug-of-war, beer-pong and... above all... the long-awaited famous Prolapse that came out of the somewhat deranged minds of students from Timisoara! (Besides, we say hello to the ankles and shoulders that jumped during the afternoon matches... We said it was not a game for the weak!)
And of course, the Timisoarians pulled off a great performance, climbing to 2nd place ahead of the Iasians and the Bucharestians, but behind the Clujians.
Thank you very much to the other schools for their sportsmanship and their sympathy! Congratulations and a huge thank you to Cluj for organizing this incredible event! And, also, a big congratulations to Juliette WIART (Head of the External Relations Hub) as well as to Mathieu BLIN (President of the AEMVT-Gaudeamus) for their involvement in the creation of this event which, hopefully, will come back every year from now on. !!!
